WEC Representation in Denmark

WEC Danmark is the autonomous country member committee of the World Energy Council, and repre-sents Danish interests at WEC meetings and other WEC activities.

WEC Danmark's mission is:
• to disseminate information from WEC's international meetings and reports
• to enhance the members' knowledge of international energy and environmental policies
• to put Danish energy policy into an international perspective
• to support Danish participation in WEC's working programmes
• to create international support for Danish energy policy viewpoints
• to stimulate cooperation between organisations in the Danish energy sector

WEC Danmark has its Secretariat at the Danish Energy Association in the centre of Copenhagen, 15 minutes from the airport.

WEC Danmark has some 30 member companies.

WEC Danmark is operated on a day to day basis by the Board of Directors in close cooperation with the Secretariat.
The Board of Directors has the following members:
